Sun: Prefers bright, indirect light. However this plant can be grown in a medium light environment. They can even survive in low light situations. If grown in low light make sure to water less often. Also note that the growth will be slower and may even become "leggy".  

Watering: Water thoroughly after allowing this plant to dry out completely. between waterings. When watering allow the soil to become fully saturated with water making sure that the water is draining out of the drainage holes.  If you are using a no drainage growing method be sure to not over water, this can lead to root rot.  

Soil: Plant in a well draining tropical house plant mix.  Combine perlite, orchid bark, and coconut husks with standard potting mix for best results. 

Pet Safety: Non-toxic to cats and dogs. 

Other Notes: These "trees" prefer more humid environments but it is not required to grow this plant.
