Ficus- Tineke "Ruby" - Large

 Sun: Bright indirect, can be grown outdoors in the spring and summer months (grown in the shade).

Watering: Allow the first 2-3 inches, or 50%, of the soil to dry out between waterings.  Let the water come out of the drainage holes fully to make sure that the soil has been completely saturated.  

Soil: Chunky well training tropical mix.  Combine standard house plant soil with perlite, orchid bark, and coco nut husks. 

Pet Safety: TOXIC to cats and dogs

Other Notes:

-This ficus is much easier for beginner plant parents than the fiddle fig ficus.  

-All ficus, including Tineke "Ruby", will need slightly higher humidity levels to prevent leaf drop.
