Sun: Bright Indirect Light 

Watering: Tolerant to SOME drought but prefer to be watered when the bottom 25% of the soil is dry.  Can still thrive on drying out completely though. Make sure that when you are watering this plant that you are completely saturating the soil and allowing the water to drain through completely.  

Soil: Cactus/Succulent Mix. 

Simple mix: Add perlite to standard potting mix or to standard cactus soil. 

Premium Mix: Add perlite expanded clay (leca balls), pumice, and coconut husk chips to standard potting mix to increase aeration and breathability for the roots. 

Pet Safety: Advise pet safety with CAUTION.  ASPCA website is not definitive on the pet safety of this plant. 

Other: This cactus is semi tropical so a little humidity, such as in a bathroom would be great for this plant.
